A little hummingbird flew in the garage and flew upstairs. Michael opened the windows hoping it would fly out but it didn't. Later when he came back the little bird was laying with it's wings stretched out about dead.....He picked it up and brought it to our feeder and put it's beak in the feedding hole. He was panting and not eating well so I filled a plastic lid with the food and Michael put it's beak in the food and it started drinking.Within several minutes it was strong enough to stand on it's own and to our amazement it flew up in the air.
We looked at each other and couldn't believe it.
Pretty awesome.
I was able to capture the event with a few photos to share on the blog.
