July visit to Hunter knob

I spent about ten days at Hunter knob in July.

Special Hunter Knob Candle

I have been collecting small rocks as I took my walks on Ridgeview Mountain. I washed them and found this cool vase at Target for half price and filled it with the rocks and a votive candle on top.

It's pretty Special.

TWO NEW PROJECTS

I have two new projects.
The autumn tablemat is made of wool from a kit from
Primitive Gatherings. I have a winter one to do with snowmen
and will do a spring/summer one with flowers.
The sunflower star will be a wallhanging to hang over
the bed downstairs at Hunter knob. It needs the border
sewn on and machine quilted. I was eager to see how
it looked so took a photo and wanted to post it on the
blog.

Summer Visit with the grandsons

The Grandsons visited this month. Carter and Brandy were especially good friends.
Graham loved playing with the fabric I bought to make him a quilt.
